I was so excited when I found out that I would have more adventures from Richard and Kaylan and couldn't wait to read the books! I just finished both books and I was not disappointed.

Logitech HD Portable 1080p Webcam C615

My son is purchasing a Logitech HD Portable 1080p Webcam C615, as soon as it arrives we will review it.

The product arrived as promised in 3-5 days, and my son Marcus has been using it for 1 week.  He absolutely loves this camera.  Easy to install and setup, easy to adjust camera level, and clear crisp picture.  Two thumbs up for this camera.

Conair 225R Comfort Grip 1875 Watt

Hi Bernie here, I have been using the Conair 225R Comfort Grip 1875 Watt for a couple of months now and I love it.

This was a replacement hair dryer for me, my last Conair I bought back in the late 90's, so it lasted over ten years.  Good solid construction, pretty quiet for the power.  

The attachments work well.  I am very pleased.

Norpro Avocado Slicer

Today, at In Review, we are testing the Norpro Stainless Steel Avocado Slicer.

I have never tried this product before and the Review Video shows our first time using this clever item. With just two tries I was able to get perfectly sliced avocados which is a testament to how easy this slicer really is to use.  http://youtu.be/YfbRiVKS4mk

With the sliced avocado you can garnish your favorite green salad; add as a topping to your Arbondiga Soup; or dice for chunky guacamole.

Recipe:

Chunky Guacamole

Ingredients:

2 ripe avocados

2 tbsp mayo/salad dressing

2 tbsp salsa

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Dice avocado using the Norpro Stainless Steel Avocado Slicer. First, do your initial slice from the large end of the avocado, do not remove the meat from the skin; next simply rotate the avocado 1/2 turn and using the slicer cut through from side to side. Empty the diced avocado into medium sized bowl.

2. Add mayo/salad dressing, salsa (use your favorite jar or home-made salsa), and salt and pepper to the bowl of avocado.

3. Gently fold together until mixed.

Serve with tortilla chips; pita bread; or use as garnish on home-made tacos, burritos and Huevos Rancheros. Also a great way to pump up that store bought Mexican food to give it an authentic taste.

Did you know that if you place the avocado pit into your bowl of guacamole it will prevent it from turning brown!
